I’d like to introduce our November Spotlight this month, Jennifer Hodges! Jennifer has been an extraordinary resource for our clients. She is Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager at SunTrust Bank located in Winter Park.
Company, Position and brief job description:
SunTrust Bank, Commercial Banker. I work with a variety of businesses to manage their banking relationship, provide cash flow solutions and assist with any financing needs.
Family:
I’ve been married to my husband Tom for almost 5 years. I have one son, Ethan, who is 2 and 1/2 years old, and a baby girl named Ava due in February 2016.
What do you do in your spare time?
I love going to Disney World with the family. I grew up having seasonal passes, worked there in college and still love going for a few hours on the weekend with my family!
What 3 bits of wisdom can you share with others?
1. Always put family first. 2. Have a career goal that you are always working to achieve. 3. Read! Whether it’s the newspaper, a career book, or a fun novel. Take 30 minutes every day to read something!
What is your guilty pleasure? (TV show, sweet treat, etc.)?
Watching the Cooking Channel or Food Network!
What is your favorite place to eat?
Any Italian restaurant. I love trying new places.
What are you passionate about?
My family.
What is your dream vacation spot?
There are multiple places in Europe that I have on my Bucket List to visit.
What is the biggest challenge you have faced and how did you overcome it?
Balancing being a working Mom. I want to do it both, so figuring out how to do both well has been a continuous challenge that I’m getting better at every day.
What is your favorite app, social media outlet, or newspaper/magazine?
I’m a Facebook girl. I have to admit, I go on too much!
